Peace Celebrations
Geoff Webb

This peace celebration parade passes near the Wesleyan Methodist Church at North Common, Redbourn, 1919.
Two ‘geisha girls’ in the centre were Hilda Millard (left) and Lily Dyer.
Turning to speak to them is Walter Marshall.  ‘Charlie Chaplin’ was Fred Allen, and on the right is sailor Isobel Bradbury.
