Cyril Leighton demonstrates the ancient rural pastime of ‘Ringing the Bull’ to a young audience at a Friars Wash Point to Point horse racing meeting.

It was at about this time that Cyril came to Redbourn and ran the Bridge Cafe near the railway station.  He travelled around the district on his trades bicycle giving similar demonstrations.  The last sighting of Cyril was down in the New Forest many years ago.
