Kenneth Mimer’s early life was at North Common, Redbourn.
He spent several years in the Royal Navy before retiring to Scotland where he spent the latter part of his life in the Western Isles.
We see him here portrayed on Handa Island in June, 2002, maintaining a constant love of the sea.
