The History Behind Loreto College - Comment on Article

 

 

 

In following up my comment on the article on The History Behind Loreto College, St Albans, I have three images to support the item.  First is a photo of The Elms as it is today as part of Loreto College, and taken from the drive at the junction of Hatfield Road and Lattimore Road.  Second is the surviving decorated wall which curtains both Hatfield Road and Lattimore frontages.  Third is an extract of the 1879 1st edition map to show The Elms.
