Sold 20 pigs to W Bird £31.10s. Sold Heifer and Calf to W Bird – £18. 10s White Sow died in tank hole
Mon 10th
Dull damp morning glass at rain. 1 Yard wood [of] Riddle 2s.6d paid. 4 Yards wood F C 10s paid Down Horn Bull by own bull. Cow calved 11 o’clock night F C
Wed 12th
Very fine bright morning, Glass rising. Harness to Poulton to be mended and oiled. Bottle Oil of Poulton. Church Porch Door open no one inside went to see, gate undone.
Fri 14th
Very fine morning Glass at change. To Ashridge Estate Office with Mrs C for a ride to pay rent to Mr George Bees swarmed To the Grove to see if Father wants any horses
Sat 15th
Very fine morning. Began mowing trefoil Little Bury field, horse hoe mangolds, bees swarmed White Calf found dead in pen

Fine morning, showery day. Jo Chilton broke Plow body
