  • Hi I’m sure Louisa Hawkins married my great grandfather, so my nans dad , we have that on our family tree so must check if that’s correct, I know there’s a Louisa on there

  • My ancestor Thomas Smith had the lease as a miller of Redbournbury Mill in 1816, but he died in 1824. It was always said in the family that Thomas’wife was a Hawkins. His brother Samuel was at Sopwell Mill, and later Samuel’s son Frederick. Another son of Samuel’s married Louisa Hawkins. Do your familyrecords go back that far?

  • The photo must be earlier than 1908. (Harry) Valentine, my father, was born on 14/02/1898 and looks to be about 3 years old which would make it about 1901. Susie Wooster has told me that she and her sister Cecilie are sure that second from left in the back row is Albert Weatherhead, their grandfather. The Weatherheads were cousins on Julia’s side of the family.
