The river mimram is a old river that runs through lots of villages. The river starts at Whitwell. The length of the river mimram 20km. It joins at the river lea and travels through many more rivers.

  • Can anyone tell me the origin of the river name Mimram? Was wondering if it were pre-Anglo-Saxon i.e. Celtic or even pre-Celtic.
