In this age of digital communication the beauty of handwritten text caught my imagination, the imperfections visible, not deleted.  The presentation of the documents from the archives inspired me to roll and fold my pieces, tying and labeling them. In these pieces free-machine stitch has been applied to lightweight screen printed material.  The tally sticks are ceramic.
