Memories of Rye Farm

During the Second World War I lived at Rye Farm with my parents and other members of my Dad’s family.

The farmhouse was situated about where the Environmental Centre building is now.  I think it was demolished in the 1950s.

I would really like more information about Rye Farm and its history, and I wonder if there are any pictures or maps. 

My cousins and I often talk about Rye Farm and Rye House.  I went to the museum on Hoddesdon and all they were able to give me was an old estate agents’ map which did actually show Rye Farm.
